Professional Development Conference 2024

The Detroit Fire Department Professional Development Conference is an event that brings together firefighters, emergency responders and industry professionals from across the country to share knowledge, skills and best practices in the field of fire safety and emergency response. It will take place Wednesday, July 10th through Friday, July 12th.
   

Attendees can expect dynamic speakers, a wide range of workshops, demonstrations and breakout sessions. Some of the major topics on this year’s agenda include fire investigation, strategic leadership, mental health and wellness and diversity, equity and inclusion. 
     

This three-day conference also features unique opportunities to learn about the latest techniques, emergency response trends, management and leadership. Industry professionals will also be able to explore emerging technology and networking opportunities.
