The City of Detroit’s Media Services Division is currently in the process of upgrading the camera and audio system inside the City Council Committee of the Whole Chambers. The upgrades are expected to be completed on Friday, January 9. During this time, there will be no live airing, or live streaming of City Council sessions. However, the daily meetings will be taped and replayed nightly on Channel 10 at 7 p.m.

For the past eighteen (18) months, the City Council, the Mayor, and the Emergency Manager have worked collaboratively to provide residents with the highest level of service possible in the midst of financial receivership.
