  • Expanding businesses and technology centers in the city as well as supporting small local, minority-owned businesses and neighborhood economic development.
  • Development of neighborhoods by cleaning up streets, rehabbing and creating safe parks and play areas for recreation activities and cracking down on crime while ensuring citizens feel safe with their police department.

  • Utilizing the technology and resources needed for Detroit to create a system of departmental accountability similar to Baltimore's "citistat" program.
  • Greater economic development in the city from permanent casinos to family owned businesses
  • Developing a system of Risk Management procedures

  • Recreation Task Force: Provide the City and City Council with a clearly articulated, comprehensive strategy for funding positive leisure activities for the citizens of Detroit. This strategy will be formatted by the Task Force, using an inclusive, community driven process.
