The Jefferson Chalmers Neighborhood Framework Plan is a plan of action, co-crafted by residents and the City, to guide future growth and investment in the neighborhood. The Plan is guided by this principle:

One City. For all of us.

 

Neighborhood stakeholders and the City work together to determine how investments should be made in the neighborhood to achieve:

A healthy and beautiful Detroit, built on inclusionary growth, economic opportunity, and an atmosphere of trust.

Background

Jefferson Chalmers residents and the City of Detroit worked together from March, 2018 to February, 2019 to co-craft the Neighborhood Framework Plan. Below is a recap of the planning process:
