FINANCIAL INCENTIVES
Grants and Loans
Currently the Detroit Historic District Commission does not offer any grants or loans for the repair of your historic building. If you live in the Brush Park Historic District, there is a facade grant program, contact the Brush Park Development Corporation at 313-833-4987.
State Income Tax Credit Program
This credit can refund 25% of your interior and exterior rehabilitation costs through your state income taxes. This program is administered by the Michigan State Historic Preservation Office.
