Thanksgiving Service
On Thanksgiving Day, November 22, Woodward Avenue will be closed between Warren and Jefferson Avenues from 9:00 am until approximately 2:00 pm. Parade floats will travel south on Woodward to east on E. Jefferson to north on Mt. Elliott (after the parade). Between the hours of 8:00 am and 9:15 am, Warren between Woodward and Cass, Cass between Warren and Martin Luther King Blvd., and Martin Luther King Blvd. between Cass and Woodward will be closed for the annual Turkey Trot. As a result of these two events, reroutes will occur on the following routes:

#31 Mack - State between Shelby & Washington Blvd.
#34 Gratiot - Library between Grand River & Gratiot
#36 Oakland - Library between Grand River & Gratiot
#37 Michigan - State between Shelby & Washington Blvd.
#40 Russell - Library between Grand River & Gratiot
#48 Van Dyke - Farmer between Gratiot & Grand River
#49 Vernor (west of Woodward) - Capitol Park
#49 Vernor (east of Woodward) - Library between Gratiot & Grand River
#53 Woodward - State between Shelby & Washington Blvd.
Routes #14 Crosstown, #16 Dexter, and #53 Woodward will be rerouted during the Turkey Trot.
DDOT will operate a Sunday schedule on Thanksgiving Day for all
regular routes at regular fares. As a convenience for bus passengers traveling to the parade, DDOT will provide extra bus service on the
following routes:
#21 Grand River #37 Michigan
#23 Hamilton #53 Woodward #34 Gratiot
DDOT also provides regular service into the downtown area from
Eastland, Northland, and Fairlane Malls as well as routes #16 Dexter, #18 Fenkell, #19 Fort, #25 Jefferson, #31 Mack, #48 Van Dyke, and #49 Vernor.
Wednesday, November 21, 2007, as the floats line up on Woodward Ave., passengers can expect minor delays on #14 Crosstown, #12 Conant, and #38 Plymouth.
All DDOT offices will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23, 2007. DDOT appreciates your ridership and is committed to providing you with a safe, clean, and reliable transportation experience.

DDOT Offers Limited Stop Service

Avoid congestion and eliminate stress while you "Dodge the Lodge" with DDOT. DDOT is offering limited stop service on three (3) major routes to aid travelers looking for transit alternatives during the Lodge closure.
