Adopt-A-Shelter

The Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) is sponsoring an Adopt-A-Shelter Program to improve cleanliness and safety within our neighborhoods. DDOT needs your help with removing litter at and around sheltered DDOT transit bus stops.

INTRODUCING THE GATEWAY EXPRESS
(New route serving south I-75 corridor)


The Gateway Express is a park & ride transit service from three locations near south I-75 (in Taylor and Melvindale).  This service is a coordinated effort of Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) and Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART).  Gateway Express trips will operate throughout the major construction phase of the Gateway Project, a major economic development project connecting area freeways to the Ambassador Bridge and Detroit’s Mexicantown neighborhood.
