Featuring: Fill in the Ovals

M-100 Vote TabulatorTO VOTE
Voters are to fill in the oval to the RIGHT of the candidate(s) of their choice by using only a black or blue ink pen or the marking tool provided at the polling location.

AUTOMATIC VOTER ASSISTANCE
Ballots that have been over voted, mistakenly marked or mutilated are, upon the request of the voter, returned for review. The crystal display notifies voter of problem and asks the voter whether they would like for the M-100 to read and accept or it they would like their ballot returned to revote.

WRITE-IN OPTION
Write-in ballots are automatically separated from the rest of the ballots. The M-100 ballot box features a diverter that redirects the write-in ballot into a separate bin.

ABSENTEE VOTING
The same ballot is used for absentee voting and Election Day. The M-100 is also used to tabulate absentee ballots.

IMPROVED VOTER ASSURANCE
The voter is able to directly feed their ballot into the system. The M-100 immediately provides an audiovisual confirmation of the ballot’s acceptance.

AUDIT TRAIL VERIFICATION
The M-100 guarantees the overall security of the election. The M-100 provides three distinct audit trails: the tape printout, the Memory Card, and the actual source document, the voted ballots.

IMMEDIATE REPORTING CAPABILITY
The M100 increases the overall speed at which election results are generated. Printed results of precinct totals are available immediately after the polls close.

AUTOMARK BALLOT MARKING SYSTEM
The Automark voter assist terminal is a ballot marking system designed to provide privacy and accessibility to voters who are blind, vision impaired, or have a disability or condition that would make it difficult or impossible to mark a ballot in the usual way.

The Automark features a sip/puff tube for voters who are not able to use the touch screen or touch pad; an audio function allows voters with impaired vision to listen to choices; a zoom feature that enables the voter to increase the font size of each race listed on the optical scan ballot; multiple-language capability helps ensure that all citizens in a diverse population can exercise their right to vote; and the ability to support write-in candidates.

After the voter reviews their ballot on the screen or by audio they then command the Automark to mark their ballot. Once the ballot has been marked and is returned to the voter, it is then inserted into the M-100 for tabulation.
