Notice of Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) has prepared the FFY 2015 Program of Projects and Capital Budgets.

The proposed FFY 2015 Program of Projects and Capital Budgets are described as follows:

  1. Section 5307: Preventative Maintenance $18,320,000; Employee Education and Training $20,000; Bus Shelters $194,831; General Development/Comprehensive Planning $753,427; Surveillance/Security Equipment $194,831. Total Federal: $19,483,089. State match in the amount of $4,870,772 will be provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation.

  2. Section 5339: Replacement Bus Purchase $2,070,241. Total Federal: $2,070,241. State match in the amount of $517,560 will be provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation.

  3. Section 5310: Capital projects (vehicles) $128,000; Operating Assistance $60,000. Total Federal: $188,000. State match in the amount of $82,000 will be provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation.

  4. CMAQ: Replacement Bus Purchase $2,240,000. Total Federal: $2,240,000. State match in the amount of $560,000 will be provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation.

The proposed Program of Projects and Capital Budgets are on file at DDOT, 1301 E. Warren Ave, Detroit, MI 48207. Written comments or written requests for a public hearing must be received within 30 days of this publication. If a hearing is requested, notice of the scheduled date, time, and location will be provided at least 10 days in advance. Sign interpreters for the hearing impaired available upon request. Submittals should be mailed to the attention of Grants Administrator, DDOT, at the above address. Unless otherwise published, the proposed Program of Projects and Capital Budgets described above will become final.
