Forms for lobbyist registration and maintenance of lobbyist status are available both in the City Clerk’s Office and online. 

 Lobbyist Registration Form 

  • Must be completed and field annually
  • $125.00 fee per lobbyist
  • One (1) form must be filed for each client

 Supplement to Lobbyist Registration Form ( Add or remove Clients)

  • Must be completed and filed as appropriate
  • $15.00 fee for filing each form
  • One (1) form must be filed for each client

Four (4) Quarterly Reports ( to be filed by Registered Lobbyist for Each Client)

  • Must be completed and files quarterly for each client based on date of filing lobbyist registration form
  • $25.00  fee for filing each form

 All Forms MUST:

  1. All forms must be completely filled out
  2. Be notarized prior to filing with the City Clerk's Office; and
  3. Be accompanied by the required payment in the form of a check or money order made payable to the "City of Detroit"
