Join the Detroit Health Department's Office of Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Communicable Disease Epidemiologist as we convene, celebrate progress and work together with the community around the issue of Ebola Virus and other emerging diseases such as Zika Virus.

Our objectives include:
  1. Building awareness and educate the public on Detroit Health Department’s role in response to emerging diseases such as Ebola, Zika and others.
  2. Strengthening partnerships with local regional agencies and organizations to minimize the impact of emerging diseases.
  3. Exercising roles with local partners response to emerging diseases such as Ebola, Zika and others.
  4. Highlighting accomplishments of community and responder partners in response to the 2014 Ebola Virus Incident.
