Contractor for Rehabbed and Ready Program
Home Depot is interested in adding professional, reliable, and compliant Authorized Service Providers to our repair network.  Below is an example of some of the experience and compliance requirements, for interested companies.   

Professional Experience Required 
  •   Ability to coordinate and execute multiple repair projects requiring numerous trades (paint, flooring, electrical, HVAC, health/safety, etc.)
  •   Ability to manage timelines and completion dates, to satisfy program goals
  •   A support team to handle required administrative project updates and needs, such as estimated completion date, repair status updates, and general property condition communication 
General Compliance Requirements 
  •  Federal Company EIN & W9 Validation
  •  Business & Trade Licenses Validation
  •   Appropriate Michigan State / Municipal Level Licenses
    •  General Contracting License
    •  Plumber License
    •  Electrical License
    •  HVAC License
      •   Note – a company may use subcontractors to coordinate specialty services (plumbing, electrical, HVAC). The subcontractors must provide the proper licenses to satisfy compliance requirements.
    •  Workers Compensation
    •  General Liability Insurance
    •  Auto Insurance
    •  Principal Credit History (for owner of company)
    •  Comprehensive Background Checks for all workers on a project
      •   National Criminal Search
      •   SSN Validation
      •   Semi-Annual Criminal Check
    •  EPA Firm Certifications (Lead Based Paint and Individual Renovation)
