MISSION STATEMENT
The Detroit Recreation Department’s mission is to deliver the highest quality of service in the management of parks and leisure facilities, so that the City of Detroit is a place where children, families, and seniors can grow and flourish.

On-site Registration
Monday, May 6 – Friday, May 17 (Detroit Resident Only)
Monday, May 20 – Friday, May 31 (Open)

Camp fee: $425 (Our camps will offer arts & crafts, aquatics programming, team sports, field trips (additional fee may apply), a t-shirt and Day Camp Day!)

*Fee must be paid in full at the time of registration with a money order or Cashier's check made payable to Recreation Activity Fund.

Ages 3 – 5 (Early exposure)

Young Recreation Center

Ages 6 – 12
Adams/Butzel Complex
Heilmann Recreation Center
Young Recreation Center

Ages 11 – 14
Lasky Recreation Center

All Day camps will take place June 24 – August 12

Monday through Friday

8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
