NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGE IN THE HUD CONSOLIDATED PLAN   

Notice is hereby given that the City of Detroit proposes to amend its HUD Consolidated Plan to close existing Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) line items for a number of projects for which funds are not currently being used or are unlikely to be used in a timely manner.  The total of this proposed decrease is estimated to be $14,500,000.  The following is a detailed list of project funding to be reduced as well as the proposed new use of funds:  Project funding detail list. pdf

Public comment will be received for a minimum of 30 days from the date of this publication.  Final action by City Council is proposed to occur shortly after completion of the 30 day public comment period.
