Detroit Metropolitan Medical Response System

The Detroit Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS) is an ongoing effort by the Detroit Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management to enhance existing emergency response plans and efforts and to create new plans for an integrated response to a mass casualty incident.

Detroit MMRS Mission
Detroit MMRS fosters an integrated, coordinated approach to medical response planning and operations, as well as medical incident management at the local level.

It is important to understand that the Detroit MMRS is not a replacement of existing resources but rather an enhancement of current plans and procedures.
