Mayor Mike Duggan’s Adopt a Park program is up and running, and our partners are doing a great job! We’re so excited to see their progress in helping to bring these parks back to life. Together, we can create more safe spaces for children to play and families to gather in the City of Detroit.

Park adoptions are closed for this year. If you are interested in learning how you can partner with the City in other ways, please contact our parks hotline at (313) 224-5555.

Adopt a Park is now on Facebook! Log on and “like” our page to see important updates, upload photos of your park, and view other’s progress.

Browse the links on the left hand side of this web page to access information on which parks are adopted. An updated partner information packet is there as well if you need a copy.

General Services, Recreation, and the Mayor’s Office are committed to ensuring that our
partners uphold their contractual agreement to keep their park mowed and free of trash this summer.
We do bi-monthly inspections and the schedule is posted on the Adopt a Park Scorecard page.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the parks hotline at (313) 224-5555.

Thank you for helping us ensure that every neighborhood has a future.
