Adult Education Center Operator

The Detroit Workforce Development Department, a Michigan's Works! Agency, in cooperation with the Detroit Workforce Development Board, and in partnership with the local Chief Elected Official, the Mayor of the City of Detroit, announces a New Notice of Solicitation for Request for Proposal (RFP)-Adult Education Center Operator. The Adult Education Center Operator will provide participants with Adult Basic Education (ABE), General Educational Development (GED) Preparation, and/or GED Testing. The sites are located at DWDD’s One-Stop Service Centers: 9301 Michigan Ave., 5555 Conner, 707 W. Milwaukee, and 455 W. Fort Street. The Submission Deadline is May 14, 2010.

Fatherhood Boot Camp

Sealed proposals to provide Fatherhood Boot Camp  will be received by the City of Detroit, Purchasing Division, Finance Department, at 1008 Coleman A. Young Municipal Center Detroit, Michigan 48226 on or before 4:00 p.m., March 16, 2010. 

Late proposals will be returned to the sender unopened. 

There will be no Public Opening or Reading of the proposals.

All proposals submitted by 4:00 p.m., March 16, will be publicly recorded at 9:00 a.m. on March 17, 2010 in the Purchasing Division, Finance Department, Detroit, MI.  Proposals submitted will not be available for review.  This will be the vendor’s opportunity to be informed as to what firms have submitted proposals in response to the RFP.

Should you be in doubt as to the true meaning of a portion of this Request for Proposal, or should you find any ambiguity, inconsistency, or omission therein, please make a written request for an official interpretation or correction.  All questions must be received in writing no later than 4:00 pm, February 24, 2010.  All questions should be sent to the attention of Richard Wilson, 1008 Coleman A. Sealed proposals to provide a Road Construction Apprenticeship (RCAR) Program for the Detroit Workforce Development Department for the City of Detroit will be received by the City of Detroit, Finance Department-Purchasing Division, at 2 Woodward Ave, Room 1008 Detroit, Michigan 48226 on or before 4:00 p.m., local time on March 5, 2010.
