DDOT is pleased to present the final draft of our Program Management Plan (PMP), which describes our plans for overseeing grant funds allocated to enhance transit services for Detroit's elderly, disabled, and lower income riders through the new Detroit Mobility 1st (DM1) service. The plan describes a fully-coordinated service that manages funds from the Elderly & Disabled Individuals, Job Access / Reverse Commute (JARC), and New Freedom grant programs.

DDOT's New
Special Services Program
DDOT has restructured its Senior Citizens, Special Fares Disabled and ADA
Paratransit (Detroit MetroLift) ridership programs into a combined, more
efficiently managed Special Services Program. The restructured program allows
DDOT to better evaluate the needs of all applicants in order to ensure
applicants are provided access to the transportation service that best meets
their specific need.
