Many City of Detroit offices will be closed on Monday, Dec. 5 for budget-mandated furlough: 

Administrative Hearings

Building Authority

Buildings, Safety Engineering and Environmental Department

City Clerk’s Office and City Clerk Archives and Records Division

City Council Offices

Communications & Creative Services Division (CCSD)

Community Access Centers (formerly Neighborhood City Halls)

Elections

Environmental Affairs

Finance Department - Income Tax, Revenue Collections, Treasury and Purchasing Divisions

General Services Department

          Greater Detroit Resource Recovery Authority (GDRRA)

Health and Wellness Promotion
Human Resources (with the exception of Payroll Division)

Human Rights

Labor Relations

Law

Mayor’s Office

Media Services (formerly Cable Communications Commission)

Municipal Parking (with the exception of garages and cashier offices)

Ombudsman’s Office

Public Works (Refuse to be picked up, and drop-off locations will be open.)
