Jessica Taylor has been with TJA Staffing Services since 1992 and has served as the
Director of Training for over 15 years. Her responsibilities include but not limited to developing and
implementing training programs for corporations, non-profit organizations as well as public & private
schools. She is also the Senior Recruiting Consultant and works directly with the President on
Executive placements.
As the Executive Director of the Chance For Life Organization (501c3), she plays a
significant role with Michigan’s Prison population where she teaches conflict resolution, critical
thinking, diversity and other behavioral modification classes to inmates in eight (8) prison facilities
throughout the State. Other responsibilities include implementing and monitoring a mediations center in
each of the facilities, where inmates are trained to resolve their disputes in a non-adversarial manner.
Previous employment includes Wayne State University’s Center for Peace and Conflict
Studies, where she was directly involved in implementing Peer Mediation Programs in the Detroit
Public School System for grades 3 through 12. Later, she became the Mediation Trainer and
Volunteer Recruiter for the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), and was responsible for
implementing Mediation Centers in the 7th, 9th, 11th precincts, and the city of Highland Park. Her
responsibilities included recruiting and training community volunteers as mediators that were
capable of effectively managing the day-to-day operations of a Mediation Center.
Jessica currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Board for St. Vincent DePaul’s Justice
Initiative. She served on the Arab-American and Chaldean Council’s Advisory Board as well as the
Board of Directors for Homes For Black Children. She partnered with the Latin Americans for
Social and Economic Development, Inc (LA SED), and formed relationships with the non-traditional
religious community including the Nation of Islam, and the Moorish Science Temple of America.
Jessica has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business and a
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
