On February 22, 2008, the Detroit Police Department arrested Wanzell Abdullah (19) and Dremel Landers (22) wanted for the carjacking, kidnapping, and sexual assault of a 25-year-old female. 

On February 22, 2008, at 2:00 am, in the 6600 block of Fischer, the victim was sitting inside of a Black Saturn, waiting for a relative to return.  When Abdullah, armed with a firearm, entered the vehicle and drove off with the victim inside. Landers followed the two in a van.  The vehicles were driven to the 5300 block Belvidere where both individuals sexually assaulted the woman.
