The City of Detroit Urban Non-motorized Transportation Master Plan provides detailed locations and types of non-motorized facilities recommended for the City as a whole. Through a comprehensive analysis of existing destinations and available route corridors, it provides the framework and hierarchy for the citywide system. In addition, this plan proposes a strategy to implement the recommended improvements. Lastly, the plan outlines additional strategies related to maintenance and growth of the non-motorized system in the future.
