MOCA Services:
• Speakers' Bureau: Assign City department representatives to attend a community event or forum upon request
• Team Kilpatrick: Mayoral appointees volunteer to support community organizations and events
• Block Club (BC): Attend block club meetings and community events upon request
• MOCA Newsletter: Informing community about city news and MOCA activities
• Community Relations: Improving relationships with the Mayor’s Office and the community
• Community Newsletter Editors/Informational Forums: Keep the community updated and informed about Mayor Kilpatrick’s initiatives and City-related services
• Square Mile Program: Appointee program to assist in monitoring and responding to citizen needs in the community to ensure clean and safe neighborhoods
• Volunteer Ambassadors Program: To promote Detroit Love through a partnership between the community and the Mayor’s Office where the community volunteer would serve as an ambassador
• Beautification Team: Educates communities on beautification initiatives and resources that are available to them
• Conversations with the Mayor: An opportunity for the community to speak with the Mayor to discuss specific concerns regarding the City in an intimate setting
• Certificates: Acknowledge the exceptional commitment to community service by our citizens, churches, and community groups.
