Is there one representative from MOCA for the entire city?
MOCA is separated into three regions: Western Region, Eastern Region Central Region. Each team is made up of 3 representatives that attend community meetings in their specific regions and present information on behalf of Mayor Kilpatrick as well as address community concerns.
Is MOCA replacing the Mayor’s Office Neighborhood City Halls?
NO. MOCA collaborates with the Mayor’s Office Neighborhood City Halls to ensure community members and City government stand hand-in-hand to build the Next Detroit.
How can I get in contact with a MOCA representative?
Regular office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.
However, representatives are always available to meet with community groups during the early evening. For general questions, each MOCA team can be reached in the Mayor’s Office at (313) 224-3400.
