The mission of the Labor and Employment Law Section is to provide legal counseling, legal representation, proactive risk management, training, and timely and pertinent advice to City departments on diverse employment matters. The section helps departments to minimize employee claims, disputes, and grievances; and empowers city managers with the information to foster and maintain better employee/employer relationships.
