 Marathon Oil
As of June 2008 the Marathon Company has begun construction on its expansion within the city of Detroit.  Work is expected to continue through the fourth quarter (October through December) of 2010.  It is expected that 800 to 1200 construction jobs will be created by this expansion effort.  Please note the following requirements:  Applicants must

A.    Be at least 18 years of age
B.    Have reliable transportation
C.    Have completed high school or have a G.E.D
D.    Be proficient in English
E.    Pass a drug screening test
F.    Union requirements may be applicable

Recruitment and hiring for an additional 135 new refinery jobs will begin when the project is near completion - 60 new refinery jobs and 75 contractor positions.
