MISSION STATEMENTProject Administration is a group of professionals who manage a variety of complex programs and perform difficult special projects necessary to the administration of the Finance Department. This group of professionals is charged with urgent technical and analytical work which the Finance Department needs to fulfill its mission.
Project Administration Section provides the following:
- Collects and monitors revenues from the Detroit and Canada Tunnel Corporation.
- Handles loss report investigations of all City Departments.
- Opens, closes and audits imprest cash accounts.
- Monitors the 36th District Court's (Madison Center Building) operation and maintenance costs, indigent misdemeanants defender's contract and security contract.
- Development of Central Staff Services (A-87) Cost Allocation Plan.
- Performs fringe benefit rate analysis.
- Monitors the Parking Violation Bureau revenue and expenditure accounts.
- Monitors the Prisoner Care Program.
- Monitors the financing of City of Detroit casinos
