The Retirement Division administers the Pension Systems for the City of Detroit. The Retirement System is governed by the Board of Trustees of the General Retirement System (for active and retired general City employees) and the Board of Trustees of the Police and Fire Retirement System (for active and retired police officers and firefighters).
