The New Detroit Mobility 1st Annual Assessment
The Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) is the primary transportation provider that oversees resources allocated to Detroit for the Elderly and Disabled (E & D), Job Access/Reverse Commute (JARC), and New Freedom (NF) grant programs. To qualify for funding, a needs assessment was conducted and the data collected was incorporated into DDOT’s proposed Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan (CHSTP) and presented to Detroit area stakeholders for feedback.
On December 17, 2009, DDOT conducted its Detroit Coordination Planning Event to present and discuss DDOT’s new Detroit Mobility 1st (DM1) service and its proposed programs, in response to feedback on the CHSTP.
