Where Do I Take My Recycling?

Detroit residents can dispose of recyclable items free of charge at a variety of locations.

These locations are open:

The Southfield Yard is open Monday - Saturday. All locations are closed from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. These drop-off locations are open to Detroit residents only with proper identification. At this time, the City is not recycling glass at these locations.

Residents also can take recyclable items to 1331 Holden, which is open on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. excluding holidays.

2nd Saturdays	Corktown 14th and Michigan	10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
	Farwell Recreation Center	8 a.m. to Noon

3rd Saturdays	Palmer Park Merrill Pl. and Ponchartrain	8 a.m. to Noon
	Rosedale Park Christ the King Church, Pierson & Grand River	10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
	Lafayette Park Lafayette and Orleans	9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
4th Saturdays	Creekside Jefferson and Chalmers	10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
	Clark Park 1130 Clark	8 a.m. to Noon
	Boston Edison 8838 Third Street	9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
