The following are permit applications to provide for the installation, construction, maintenance, repair and/or operation of a telecommunications system within public ways, or to use public ways to provide telecommunications services in the City of Detroit. Ten (10) copies of the application with all attachments and exhibits should be submitted with a one time $500.00 application fee payable to the City of Detroit. The Metro Act Permit application form is listed below under Telecommunications, or it can be found on the Michigan Public Service Commission website at www.mpsc.gov/metro act/right of way. The form and fee should be submitted to the City of Detroit Media Services department;

The applicant is responsible for reimbursing the City's costs of reviewing this application, whether or not a permit is approved and issued. Such reimbursement is not in lieu of compensation due or paid to the City of Detroit for use of Public Ways.
