Jason Hargrove Transit Center

The Jason Hargrove Transit Center will replace the former State Fair Transit Hub  on the grounds of the historic Michigan State Fairgrounds.

REMINDER: On May 11, 2024 service will be discontinued at the temporary fairgrounds transfer area and the Jason Hargrove Transit Center will begin serving its routes. 

 

On Friday, March 15, 2024,  DDOT announced that the new transit center at the former State Fairgrounds will be named in honor of the late Jason Hargrove.

Jason Hargrove is the DDOT bus operator who died in April 2020 during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. His tragic death deeply impacted the community.
